A Little Knitting Project
I saw this cute bunny while looking for a pattern for a small child's toy to pop in an envelope with a card ... I used it as a template and made a small bunny from some fluffy wool offcuts. I didn't want to follow their pattern as it used three needles - so I knitted mine on two and in six pieces - probably not the best way to do it as it was a torture to sew together. However, it turned out OK and I got to practise a few embroidery stitches on the face and some design elements with some sequins and sparkle. The pom-pom tail was made by winding a few strands around the tines of a fork and then tying them in the middle. Being lazy I didn't give her any legs to hop on ...

ReplyDeleteLove the bunny. I think he is better without legs. Also, enjoyed Flat Stanley's adventures. Really made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteOh, how cute! I wish I had your talent.
ReplyDeleteAwww, poor girl, legless at this time in the morning... ;o)
