A Belated Thank You - Or Two

This lovely bundle arrived several weeks ago from  Ivy And Neat  and I forgot to say a big Thank You.  The fabric, (which is very pretty), will be put to good use. Ivy and Neat have a great website with lovely makes and recipes and also this week a 'Writers Retreat', which I sadly cannot go on as I am off to Harrogate for a 'girly' few days of eating, drinking, shopping and generally making merry. Maybe next time?

This lovely bird brooch is made by Helen Steel an artist and textile designer. Her work is currently for sale at  Seek And Adore. Cute isn't it? I think she rather likes birds as they seem to occur in much of her work. Luckily I like birds too!
