'Everything Alice' craft book
by
Hannah Read Baldery and Christeen Leech

I found this wonderful craft book today in  Waterstones  (£14.99) and absolutely fell in love with it. It is a craft book with tutorials for everything related to Alice in Wonderland, and particularly the Mad Hatters Tea Party. There are over fifty different projects, each of them weird and wonderful.

Excellent tutorials for toys

Everything Alice Fabric Covered teapots
Strange ideas for the teapot
Super cake crafts
Amusing makes for the table
Easy aprons to wear
Wizardry with old china
Easy templates
Zany tea cosy
What better to amuse a little one than this mobile.
Marvellous mobiles
The very best bunting

Oh this book is wonderful. It has so many original ideas covering all areas of crafting. I love it!From simple Wonderland cookies, to Alice crown name placemats to playing card bunting and tea cup candles  -  I love every silly idea. I imagine (along with my previous post on bunting) it could be invaluable when planning a street party.

This book is awesome!

Why not organise your very own street party for the Golden Jubilee or for the Olympics based on the very wonderful 'Mad Hatters Tea Party'?  Please don't forget to invite me along! Simply everything you need to make a successful party can be found in this book. Do buy it and have fun.

  2. This book looks great ... love the toy bunny and wizardry with old china. I'm a china lover so I have lots of china around. Thanks for sharing this Annabelle. :-)

  3. That sounds like a real mad hatters book, but I think I wouldn't be able to put it down either.

  4. That looks a great book. The tea cosy is lime the houses you've been making, and I think even I would be prepared to wear one of those aprons!
