'Endymion' By John Keats
"A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing".

'Restful' By Pino Daeni
This page is a tribute to the wonderful Italian oil painter Pino Daeni who died this year. He was a prolific painter of beautiful women in repose and was a great admirer of the pre-raphaelite style of art by whom his style of painting was heavily influenced.
'Restful By Pino Daeni (1939 - 2010)
I adore Keats. When I was at college in Golders Green I used to visit his house on Hampstead Heath. I've always enjoyed reading his poetry. I haven't yet seen the film about his life, but it's on the list. I've never come across Pino Daeni, but shall certainly look out for him now. I'd never have thought that he was a modern artist by looking at that painting.
